    Land Survey Utility Coordinator- Primary Responsibilities:

    • Request underground utility markings
    • Coordinate marking authorities' responses, including quality check of plans and onsite verification.
    • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to add utility locations to scale on land surveys and plans
    • Operate raSmith equipment to mark private utilities and field data collection locations with GPS.
    • Quality check surveys and plans for utility accuracies
    • Provide occasional assistance on Survey field crews
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Land Survey Utility Coordinator- Skills and Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; with a preference for an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from a U.S. accredited college or university
    • At least 1 year of experience in utility locating, surveying, or related fieldwork
    • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
    • Understanding of utility systems, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with GIS, CAD, or other mapping/design tools is a plus
    • Applicable U.S. based work experience
