Land Surveying Instrument Person

 
QUALIFICATIONS
Ÿ  High School or equivalent.
Ÿ  Strong work ethic and dependability.
Ÿ  Valid Drivers License.
Ÿ  At least 1 year experience as a Rodman, Instrument Person or equivalent role.
Ÿ  Good mathematical and communication skills.
Ÿ  This position will require the applicant to be comfortable with working in outdoor conditions.
Ÿ  Ability to work in a team environment and have consistent punctuality and superb attendance.
 
RESPONSIBLILITIES
Ÿ  Able to operate conventional total station equipment, robotic total stations and GPS equipment for the purpose of gathering data for the preparation of various types of land surveys.
Ÿ  Receives Training and instructions on land surveying from the party chief.
Ÿ  Ensure that the truck has the nessecceary equipment and materials for each day’s work task.

Milestone Land Surveying, Inc. is a local and well established surveying company serving West Tennessee and Northern Mississippi for over 20 years. The Survey Instrument Person possesses the ability to accurately operate survey instruments including GPS, robotic stations, Level and regular total stations for all types of surveying, including boundary surveys, ALTA Surveys, Leveling, As built Surveys, Construction staking, etc.
