Land Surveyor – Field  

ABD Engineers & Surveyors, LLP is a local Civil Engineering and Land Surveying company that was established in 1987 - we are looking for an energetic, conscientious and detail-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team and takes pride in their work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Surveyor                                                          

Experience with Robotic instruments                                               

Experience with GPS equipment                              

Experience with all aspects of field surveying          

WORK SCHEDULE:

The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Willingness to learn, positive attitude, dependable, and reliable
• Solid math skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions
• Ability to regularly lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 100 pounds
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult and stressful situations.
• Must accept empowerment to be accountable; must be willing to be coached and be moldable and teachable.
• Possess the ability to work well with people and to create a self-motivating work environment. Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while able to give attention to details.
• Demonstrates a positive customer service focus.
• Ability to accurately read various measuring devices.
• Ability to understand the use of and operate all department owned survey equipment.
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as chainsaws, machetes, and other tools.
• Ability to write in clear penmanship.
• Ability to read plans.
