Ascent Resources is seeking a Land Title Attorney. This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and will report to the Title Manager.Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform review and finalize land and title documentsEvaluate various land and title documents including Abstracts, Due Diligence Reports, Ownership Reports and Title OpinionsMaintain and meet various deadlines and maintain communication between appropriate teams for the corresponding projectEnsure that a quality, timely and efficient product is providedAdvise team members as to analysis and recommendations pertaining to various projectsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum Requirements:Knowledge of land and title documents and oil and gas industryAbility to analyze land and title documents, make recommendations following review of documents and run various ownership calculationsAble to effectively communicate with co-workers and management and be involved in multiple projectsAbility to be a team playerPreferred Familiarity with deed plotting and utilizing GIS programs and other oil and gas related databasesUnderstanding of oil and gas industry and oil and gas lease provisionsUnderstanding of acquisitions, divestitures, due diligence, development and operationsUnderstanding of production terms and concepts as it relates to ownershipEducation & Work Experience Required Minimum Requirements:Juris Doctorate4+ years of industry experienceStrong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and OutlookOperational or Land Title experienceDue Diligence experiencePreferred Appalachia title experience, preferably Ohio title experienceHeirship experienceDocument drafting experienceAscent Benefits Benefits start day oneGenerous 401(k)PTO based on industry or job-related experienceTuition assistance after 1 yearTwelve paid holidaysMany volunteer opportunitiesGym reimbursementAscent Resources provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
