We are currently seeking a Landfill Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Meadowbranch Landfill. If you enjoy operating heavy machinery, working outdoors, and being part of a safety-first team, we want to hear from you.


What You'll Do


As a Landfill Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in the daily operation of our landfill by operating and maintaining equipment that supports safe, efficient waste disposal and site management.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Operate heavy equipment including:

+ Bulldozers

+ Compactors

+ Wheel Loaders

+ Motor Graders

+ Scrapers

+ Spread, compact, and cover waste in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.

+ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

+ Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.

+ Maintain safe working conditions by following all company policies and safety procedures.

+ Communicate effectively with team members, truck drivers, and customers.

+ Assist with additional landfill operations as needed.


What We're Looking For


+ Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience.

+ Experience operating dozers, compactors, loaders, graders, or similar equipment preferred.

+ Strong commitment to workplace safety.

+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

+ Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.

+ Previous landfill, construction, mining, quarry, excavation, or earthmoving experience is a plus.


Pay & Benefits


$22–$25 per hour (based on experience)
