The City of Laramie is accepting applications for a part-time Landfill Laborer. This position performs litter collection both on-site and off-site at the landfill.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect wind-blown litter • Use hand tools as required • Observes safety in all phases of operation • Maintains simple records and logs • Repair, construct, and maintain litter collection fences and screen panels
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying.
Experience performing manual labor for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
Special Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, reach, crawl, twist, climb, and lift 75 pounds • Exposure to cold, heat, noise, outdoors, vibration, confining work space, and mechanical hazards
