This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while supervising field crews and supporting long-term operational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader looking to advance into higher-level operations management within 1-3 years. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead and supervise landfill personnel and heavy equipment operators + Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing, assignments, and priorities as needed + Conduct regular field inspections to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency + Enforce company policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations + Coach, train, and mentor employees; support performance reviews and development plans + Address customer concerns and support positive community relationships + Assist with setting and executing short- and long-term operational goals + Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (or equivalent leadership experience) + 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-driven environment + Experience supervising or working around heavy equipment operations preferred + Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems + Willingness to relocate in the future for promotional opportunities **To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.wasteconnections.com .
