Job Description
Represent clients in Housing Court and other courts throughout all five boroughs of New York City.
Manage landlord-tenant and housing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, affirmations, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, conferences, motions, and trials.
Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
Independently manage deadlines, caseloads, and assigned matters with minimal supervision.
Deliver strategic legal guidance while maintaining exceptional client service.
Qualifications
Active New York State Bar license in good standing.
3+ year of landlord-tenant or housing litigation experience.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Experience drafting litigation documents and appearing in court.
Excellent organization, case management, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of New York City.
Must be available for full-time employment and regular in-person court appearances.
