Outdoor Lighting Installer - Experience Required

Outdoor Lighting Installer — Experience Required

Lite Logics is hiring experienced outdoor lighting installers in the Tampa Bay area.

You must have hands-on experience installing low-voltage outdoor and landscape lighting, including fixtures, wiring, transformers, weatherproof connections, and troubleshooting.

About The Role

Lite Logics is hiring two friendly, dependable Landscape and Lighting Installation Laborers to join our team serving residential and commercial customers across the Tampa Bay area. You’ll help install landscape and outdoor lighting systems, protect customer property, and learn industry-standard low-voltage installation techniques while working outdoors in Tampa, FL.

What You’ll Do

As a member of our installation crew, you’ll support safe, efficient landscape and lighting projects by performing hands-on tasks under supervision and following approved plans. Typical day-to-day activities include:

• Loading, unloading, organizing, and accounting for tools, fixtures, and materials for landscape lighting and electrical installations.
• Assisting with laying out lighting fixture locations and preparing cable routes consistent with the approved installation plan.
• Performing shallow digging, trenching, and landscape restoration to conceal low-voltage cable while protecting existing irrigation and plantings.
• Positioning fixtures, routing low-voltage cable, aiming and testing lights, and completing installation checklists.
• Taking clear project photos and recording completed work, material usage, and any issues encountered on site with a smartphone.
• Keeping work areas clean, securing tools, and following safety procedures to protect customers and crew.
• Stopping work and notifying your supervisor if you encounter unidentified utilities, unsafe conditions, or work outside the approved scope.

Who You Are

You’re reliable, respectful, and ready to learn. Our ideal candidate shows pride in careful workmanship, treats customer property with respect, and communicates clearly with teammates and homeowners. Specific qualities we value include:

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the designated reporting location in Tampa Bay.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather, including heat and occasional rain.
• Physically able to perform essential duties—digging, bending, kneeling, lifting, and handling tools and materials—with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing to follow directions, learn proper landscaping and low-voltage lighting installation methods, and use a smartphone for photos and time reporting.
• Background in landscaping, irrigation, construction, or outdoor lighting is a plus but not required.

Compensation And Schedule

Pay is $20 per hour. This is a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week, with work at customer properties throughout the Tampa Bay area. We have two openings available.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Join a small, customer-focused team where your efforts help transform outdoor spaces with professional landscape and outdoor lighting installations. You’ll gain practical hands-on experience with low-voltage systems, learn from skilled installers, and contribute to projects that improve curb appeal and nighttime safety for homeowners and businesses across Tampa.
