Landscape Architect & Project Coordinator

Location: Tampa, Florida

Job Description:

Greetings from Aspen Talent Solutions. Calling all Landscape Architects looking to join a rapidly growing and successful firm. Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced landscape architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field, and at least 10-years of experience in the field. The candidate will work directly with our senior leadership to plan, design, and manage wide-reaching projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage projects from design to build while being able to fully design projects including amenity areas and front entrances
  • Design to specific codes in Florida, Texas, Oklahoma and other states in the US
  • Prepare and present project proposals to clients
  • Manage a team of architects, engineers, builders, and other professionals to complete large-scale projects
  • Manage subcontractors, budgets and timelines
  • Responsible for some business development directly with clients
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in landscape architecture
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in the field
  • Strong design and drafting skills
  • Knowledge of real estate developments and large-scale amenities
  • Graphic design experience with CAD software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage a consultant team
  • Availability to travel as needed
