Landscape Architect (State College, PA)
ELA Group, Inc. (ELA) is seeking a full-time Landscape Architect with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to join our team in State College, PA. While not a remote position, this in-person role offers flexibility for work/life balance within an "informal" office culture. As a regional branch of ELA, we are a small team of professionals who work closely together to achieve exceptional project design solutions for our clients. This role has the potential for upward mobility and offers a possible path towards management/leadership.
General Responsibilities
----------------------
Prepare planning documents including feasibility studies, construction documents, and subdivision/land development plans.
Produce project designs/calculations, plans, and permit applications and coordinate with reviewing agencies.
Conduct review and interpretation of ordinances and regulations.
Requirements
-------------
- Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field of study.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Strong PC Skills, i.e., Word, Excel, MS Outlook, Virtual Conferencing.
- The ability to review, understand, and resolve complex design-related issues.
- Pennsylvania State, County, and Municipal level regulatory experience.
- An understanding of, and experience with, the municipal land development and NPDES permitting process.
- Experience with bidding and construction phase engineering consulting tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively; prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent Written and Oral Skills.
