Detail Overview of Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems and vehicles
Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
Examine equipment and perform diagnostics tests
Create a maintenance schedule for all equipment
Maintain information logs on miles, run times and services
Monitor inventory levels of consumables and parts
Help with transitioning equipment from regular to winter components such as plows and liquid tanks
Seasonal on-call snow removal and needed
Desired Skill Set:
Previous experience with heavy equipment, diesel and hydraulic equipment
In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem solving
Experienced with the use of welders, torches and metal fabrication equipment
Computer savvy with experience in Microsoft Office
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Work Conditions:
Ability to work independently for 8+ hours daily
Capable of lifting 50lbs occasionally throughout the day
Able to work with different makes and models of heavy machinery
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors depending on job needs
Capable of working in tight spaces and awkward positions
