Landscape Construction Technician

Location: Medford, Oregon
Pay: $18–$25 per hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Landscape Construction Technician to join a growing Southern Oregon team.

This is a construction-focused landscaping position involving hardscapes, irrigation, retaining walls, site preparation, planting, and outdoor living projects. If you have experience in landscape construction, general construction, concrete, excavation, irrigation, hardscape, or another hands-on trade, we want to hear from you.

Experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, but we will also consider mechanically inclined individuals with solid construction or labor experience who are motivated to learn the landscape trade.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with residential and commercial landscape construction projects
• Prepare job sites, including grading, excavation, digging, and cleanup
• Install pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls, and hardscape features
• Assist with irrigation installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Plant trees, shrubs, and other landscape materials
• Load, unload, move, and stage construction materials
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape/construction equipment
• Read measurements and follow project plans and crew-lead direction
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and to quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous landscape construction, construction, excavation, concrete, irrigation, hardscape, or similar hands-on experience preferred
• Experience installing pavers, retaining walls, irrigation, drainage, or other outdoor construction features is a strong plus
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn new equipment and techniques
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a crew
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, if applicable

The Right Fit

We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes direction, and cares about the finished product. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you should be comfortable with physical work, tools, construction environments, and learning new skills.

Candidates with experience in landscaping, construction labor, hardscape, concrete, excavation, irrigation, fencing, masonry, or similar trades may be a great fit.
