Landscape Crew Leader to head a residential and commercial design-build and maintenance team in the
Ann Arbor, MI area. We offer a starting wage of
$24.00 – $28.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities
- Team leadership: Lead, train, and motivate landscaping crew members while monitoring job progress, quality, and crew productivity.
- Hands-on execution: Work alongside your crew on residential and commercial projects, performing physical tasks such as planting, maintenance, hardscaping, and installations.
- Safety & standards: Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards while interpreting site plans, project specifications, and layouts.
- Communication & coordination: Communicate effectively with management, team members, and clients regarding project updates and details.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on landscaping experience.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our shop in Ann Arbor, MI.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs +, complete physical labor, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Industry Tools: Familiarity with operating standard landscaping equipment and willingness to use company software platforms.
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership: 1+ years of direct experience specifically as a landscape crew leader or foreman.
- Licensing: A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a major plus.
