As a Landscape Crew Member, you will support landscape construction projects across residential, commercial, and municipal sites with a team of 2-5 employees. This role is responsible for assisting with the installation of new landscapes and site improvements, working closely with crew leaders and foremen to deliver high-quality results safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a team-based construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with landscape construction projects including planting, grading, sod installation, mulching, hardscape installation, and site preparationPerform general labor tasks such as digging, trenching, hauling materials, and compactionSafely use hand tools and power tools under supervisionSupport installation of irrigation components, drainage systems, and landscape features as directedLoad, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sitesMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sites during and after construction activitiesFollow jobsite plans, instructions, and company safety policiesWork collaboratively with crew leaders, equipment operators, and teammatesReport material shortages, site issues, or safety concerns to supervisorsCutting or installing turf using a variety of landscaping tools and equipment in a safe mannerPlanting, grooming and maintaining plant materialPerforming site cleanup duties which includes but is not limited to clearing and disposing of trash and organic material.Maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude with internal and external clients.

Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditionsWillingness to learn construction and landscaping techniques and follow directionStrong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindsetAbility to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive physical tasksDependable attendance and punctualityWillingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or extended shifts as project needs requireReliable transportation
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or outdoor laborFamiliarity with landscape materials such as plants, soil, mulch, pavers, or stoneBasic experience using landscaping or construction tools and equipmentExposure to irrigation or drainage installationBilingual (English/Spanish) communication skillsAttention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipInterest in growing into advanced roles such as crew leader or foremanValid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR checkBilingual in English and Spanish
