FULL-TIME POSITION

WORKS 4/10 HOUR DAYS

SUMMARY: Perform routine manual labor involved in landscape maintenance and installation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be

assigned.

• Learn neighborhood zones and/or commercial development zones.
• Ability to recognize the difference between basic (Roundup) weeds and landscape plants.
• Physically be able to hand weed and/or spray weeds.
• Know names and uses of hand tools.
• Physically be able to install pine straw and/or mulch and know proper depths.
• Able to operate push mower and know maintenance of the machine, correct fuel, and correct mowing height, proper PPE, and safety.
• Able to operate curb edger and know maintenance of machine and correct fuel, proper PPE and safety.
• Able to operate weed eater and know maintenance of machine and correct fuel, proper PPE and safety.
• Operates small hand powered equipment and perform work involving tractors and grading

equipment.

• Able to track materials for inventory and usage purposes.
• All other duties as assigned by manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's license, ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
• Physical strength, stamina, and agility.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.

ADA REQUIREMENTS:

• Walk, Stoop, and bend frequently
• Lift 50 1lbs
• Ability to see and hear
• See and distinguish colors
