Landscape Installation Manager

Position Overview:

* Ability to review a set of plans with the designer and having the knowledge of when and where the various items need to be placed in the landscape.

* Duties include managing the installation project from start to finish. Understanding the different phases of the project, when items will be needed through the different stages and doing this with a high attention to detail.

* Communicate with your crew members, client, designers, contractors, and operations manager.

* Ability to Operate trucks, equipment, and tools with a high degree of knowledge. Being able to show your crew how to accomplish complex tasks and able to diagnose and fix unforeseen conditions.

* Position starts in March/April through year including long term opportunities.

Skills & Experiences Preferred:

* Ability to work in and manage the team. Able to communicate well with team knowing that you will be responsible for the overall workings of your team.

* 3+ years of experience working in the profession and understanding of job cycle.

* Familiar with all aspects of equipment operation and maintenance

* Great work ethic and ability to work outside in various weather conditions

* Physical capability to lift 50lbs

* Safely operate basic landscape equipment and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Able to obtain/possess a DOT health card within DOT Guidelines.

* Knowledge and experience in various hardscape and softscape installation projects.

* Proficient heavy equipment operating skills

* Certified CNLP, ICPI, PLT, MNLA, ALCA, or ISA is a plus
