Penmac Staffing is hiring dependable and hardworking Landscape Laborers / General Laborers for outdoor work with a client company in the Overland Park area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outside, staying active, and being part of a team that takes pride in creating and maintaining attractive outdoor spaces. Previous landscaping experience is helpful, but motivated candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Requirements for the Landscape Laborer
Previous landscaping or general labor experience preferred, but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift 50+ pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
Basic familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment is a plus
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Landscape Laborer Responsibilities
Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and weeding
Assist with installing mulch, sod, plants, and basic hardscape materials
Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, and rakes
Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials between job sites
Complete general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and site preparation
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and supervisor instructions
Work with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Schedule and Pay
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Hours may vary based on project needs and weather conditions
$17.00 per hour
