Lawn Management Company (LMC)  is searching for a Landscape Maintenance Field Manger for its Central Houston branch to supervise foreman and their crews, ensure work is scheduled to meet timelines, and communicate field operations up to Branch management staff. This is a Full-time position, with typical hours being 6am to 4pm, Monday-Friday—with one day of week staying to close the office. In addition to receiving a base pay and being benefit eligible, this role qualifies for annual incentive pay as well as a company vehicle.

Responsibilities
  • Supervises Foremen and their crews to include scheduling, directing work, interviewing, training, performance management, etc.
  • Ensures work is completed to company standards by conducting site visits and inspections
  • Works closely with the Branch Manager on various tasks such as scheduling, production, safety, capital assets, fleet management, purchasing needs and estimating new business
  • Controls and manages inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Responsible for executing and tracking safety programs and weekly safety team meetings
  • Uses a variety of systems to track time, material, customer issues, work orders, payroll, etc
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in landscaping field position required; ideally 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to speak Spanish and English
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to direct and instruct others
  • Comfortable using computers and other forms of technology is needed
  • Shares in company values and can demonstrate those in the field
