Landscape Maintenance Technician At Yard Techs
Location: Irvine | Pay: $25.00–$29.65/hr, based on experience | Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Yard Techs is hiring a Landscape Maintenance Technician for residential landscape work.

Pay & Earning Opportunities

Base pay: $25.00–$29.65/hour, based on experience
Referral bonus: $2,000 for every team member you refer, who's hired
New client bonus: 5% commission on every client you bring in

• What the Job Is Like

Most days start early. You'll run your assigned route of residential properties, helping keep yards clean, healthy, and detail-oriented. The work is physical, but it's also rewarding. You're outside, moving throughout the day, and you get to see the results of your work before you leave each property.

You'll train with a team, then run your own route independently, so you should be comfortable working solo day-to-day once trained.

What You'll Do

• Residential landscape maintenance
• Mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing
• Weed removal and control
• Hedge trimming and plant cleanup
• Basic plant care and property detail work
• Checking for irrigation issues
• Reporting property problems or improvement opportunities
• Using landscape tools safely to include mowers, blowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools
• Keeping tools, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized
• Following Yard Techs maintenance procedures and property checklists

What We're Looking For
You don't need to know everything on day one. We'll train the right person. This job may be a good fit if you:

• Are reliable and show up on time
• Like working outdoors and can work hard for a full shift
• Are comfortable with physical labor and can lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Are willing to learn, follow instructions, and take feedback
• Care about doing clean, professional-looking work
• Can read basic English instructions and training materials
• Are comfortable with a background check and drug test
• Have a valid driver's license

Schedule

Typical hours are 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Depending on weather, route needs, or workload, some days may start as early as 5:00 AM or run until 6:00 PM, with an occasional Saturday during busy season or rainy season. We're looking for someone with reliable, full-time availability.
