Landscape & Mowing Crew Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Crew Member to oversee and manage our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge in horticulture and landscape installation/maintenance, and the ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. This is a hands-on position where you will lead by example, work alongside the crew, and ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Leadership and Supervision:**

- Supervise and lead a team of landscape crew members, providing training and guidance as needed.

- Delegate tasks and ensure crew members understand project objectives and timelines.

- Motivate and monitor team performance, addressing any issues that arise on the job site.

- **Planning and Execution:**

- Read and interpret landscape design plans and blueprints.

- Plan and organize daily work schedules for your crew.

- Ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with client specifications and company standards.

- **Communication:**

- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, manager, and the landscaping team.

- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.

- Provide regular updates on project progress to supervisors and clients.

- **Site Management:**

- Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are followed by all crew members.

- Maintain company equipment in good working order and report any damage or issues promptly.

- Monitor the quality of work on-site, ensuring all projects meet our quality standards.

- **Technical Skills:**

- Perform hands-on landscape duties including planting, pruning, mulching, irrigation installation, and hardscape provisioning.

- Use and maintain various landscaping tools and equipment.

**Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma or GED; additional training or certification in landscaping or horticulture preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape operation with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

- Profound understanding of landscape design processes, along with experience in using relevant equipment and machinery.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate company vehicles.

**Working Conditions:**

- This position will involve working outside in varying weather conditions.

- Must be able to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for prolonged periods.
