Join RCI and grow the future with us!SPRAY TECHNICIAN DUTIES INCLUDEAccurately and safely calibrating, recording, and applying chemicals to designated landscaped areas to maintain or improve the condition of the plant materials or turf.Monitoring targeted areas for existing and potential problems.Working independently or with others under little or no supervision.Maintaining current, accurate records of products used, problems encountered, or other information essential to the job.Lifting and carrying items weighing in excuses of 50 lbs.Maintaining and safely operating various equipment, including a spray truck, backpack sprayers, rotary and drop spreaders, and all related application and calibration products.Communicating well with others and follow both written and verbal instructions.Establishing and maintaining safety and security for all employees and customers.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school degree or GED is required.One year experience or a minimum of a two-year degree in a related field.Must currently have or be able to obtain a Chemical Applicators Certification.Must have a valid Class D driver's license and clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with customer service.Candidate must be able to walk for long periods of time.Must have a willingness to work long hours and a varying schedule.Must be willing to work outdoors under varying environmental condition.COMPENSATION / BENEFITSSalary - $1050/week ($54,600 annually) based on certification/licensureMedical, Dental, Vision, Liability and several more supplemental insurance options401K plan with partial match*Paid Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays*EXPERIENCELandscape and/or Spray (pesticide IPM): 2 yearsEDUCATIONHigh School or equivalentLICENSEDriver's LicenseChemical Applicators Certification PreferredRCI is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.#J-18808-Ljbffr
