The Landscape Technician Landscapes and maintains related City grounds, parks and rights-of-way using mowing and other landscaping equipment. Essential duties include the follwoing.
Assists with the opening and closing of graves.
Assists with the installation of footstones and monuments.
Assists in tamping, seeding and strawing lots.
Assists the public in the location of grave sites.
Cleans mausoleum breezeway and chapel.
Completes required reports.
Maintains rights-of-way; removes trash and debris; mows grass.
Maintains landscaping on city grounds.
Maintains and repairs assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Purchases needed supplies and equipment.
Repairs sunken graves and footstones.
Repairs excavation sites.
Plants, prunes, trims, sprays and waters trees and shrubs.
Performs related duties.
