Job Summary:
Under a crew leader's guidance and with additional training, the incumbent in this position will work to maintain landscaped grounds to a specified high standard.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
High school or GED preferred
Experience
Prior landscape maintenance preferred, but not required.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration
Valid Florida driver's license preferred
Other
- Dirver's license REQUIRED.
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to perform duties that require a great deal of bending.
- Able to use edger, leaf blower and lawn mower to maintain grounds.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to landscaping duties.
Job Duties
Essential Duties
% of Time- Identification and removal of plants determined to be weeds in their present locations.
- Removal of any debris, litter, and trash in and around shrub beds.
- Removal of dead leaves, flowers and other materials, and trimming as instructed.
- Add additional mulch and removing old mulch from beds

% of Time- Assist other staff with other landscaping responsibilities as needed
