Landscaper Driving Crew Member

Landscape Crew Leader (Driver)
Schedule: 5-day work week (some Saturdays as needed due to weather)
Compensation: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Summary:

• Lead and manage landscaping crews on job sites
• Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate with customers and team members
• Complete projects accurately and on schedule

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a 2–5 person landscaping crew
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Read and follow landscape designs, maps, and blueprints
• Identify plant materials and complete landscaping tasks accurately
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment safely
• Complete daily paperwork for hours, equipment, and crew tracking
• Ensure job site tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
• Follow all company safety guidelines and industry standards

Requirements:Desired Work Experience:

• 3–5 years of landscaping experience required
• Leadership or crew lead experience preferred

Special Certifications Needed:

• Valid Ohio Driver’s License required

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of plant materials and landscaping practices
• Ability to read landscape plans and blueprints
• Experience operating riding mowers, walk-behind mowers, and small equipment
• Experience using pruning shears, chain saws, and other landscaping tools
• Dependable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
