Job Description
Job Title: Landscaper / General Maintenance Worker
Duration: 6+ months
Pay rate: $20.00/hr. on w2 without benefits
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday / 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- General maintenance workers working with code enforcement throughout the city picking up trash, sandy or wooden debris, and Herbicide treatment. Other duties will include mowing, weed removal and snow removal of sidewalks in the winter.
- Operate a variety of equipment and tools to perform maintenance and repair functions, construction, installations, and other work for an assigned department or division.
- This is accomplished by maintaining skill and knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment, methods, and material used, traffic laws, traffic control, ordinances, standards, and rules involved in the operation of equipment, occupational hazards, safety practices, operating characteristics, and uses of hand and power tools and mathematical calculations.
- Driving City vehicles will be included in the job.
- Can operate manual transmission.
Must Have:
- Active Driver’s License of Colorado.
- Ground Maintenance experience.
- Trash Picking/ Debris Removal/ Mowing/ Weeding.
- Hand Tools/ Power tools.
