About the Role:U.S. Lawns in Jackson, MS is looking for a dependable and hardworking Landscaping Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Ridgeland, MS. Responsibilities:- Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing
- Maintain landscape beds through weeding, mulching, and pruning shrubs and hedges
- Operate and maintain commercial landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as directed
- Assist with seasonal landscape enhancements and plant installations
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and meet quality standards upon completion
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders and team members on daily tasks
Requirements:- Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate commercial mowers, hand tools, and power equipment
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual labor
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Pesticide applicator license a plus, but not required
