Landscaping Specialist

Job Description

Alex's Proscape, a premier landscaping company in State College, PA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and a strong attention to detail. This position will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks, including planting, watering, fertilizing, and maintaining plants, flowers, and trees. The Landscaping Specialist will work closely with our team to ensure that every project meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Planting and maintaining flowers, trees, and shrubs
• Installing and repairing irrigation systems
• Pruning and trimming trees and bushes
• Mowing, edging, and weeding lawns
• Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed
• Assisting with hardscaping projects, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
• Ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in landscaping
• Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, and trees
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
