Purpose
To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational development and maturity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create a learning environment that challenges students at all ability levels and encourages inquiry, collaboration and creativity. Teacher will be required to integrate technology into classroom activities; differentiate instruction; effectively utilize formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instruction, etc.
Qualifications
Certified teacher in the state of Indiana as regulated by the State Certification Department. Degree required in area of specialty. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
