Job Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical design of Salesforce solutions for case management, field service operations, and user engagement.
Conduct organizational health checks and platform assessments, providing recommendations based on Salesforce best practices.
Participate in Design and Discovery sessions while promoting the adoption of the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to state employees and contractor development teams.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Oversee proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate the technical feasibility and business value of proposed solutions.
Ensure Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC) practices are followed throughout all development and deployment phases.
Set the technical direction for child welfare applications.
Support 24/7 operations of Tier 2 applications, such as the Michigan Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (MiSACWIS), which serves over 8,000 users.
Ensure compliance with all performance, security, and regulatory standards.
Primary Duties (80%):
Serve as the development specialist responsible for the design, development, testing, and documentation of technical software solutions.
Solve system design problems and programming issues.
Ensure solutions are integrated and enhanced to meet the agency's business plan objectives.
