Large Corporate Treasury Management Officer IIIAbout the RoleMember of a highly productive, industry leading team of treasury professionals. Responsible for business development, including new client acquisition and cross‑sell, client service excellence, client retention, and consultative engagement with a focus on Title & Escrow and Specialty Deposits.Revenue growth and client retention are paramount. Work with a One Bank team to understand clients' and prospects' business environments, strategies, and industries to best determine the financial needs and appropriate working‑capital management solutions to provide.Develop and manage a client portfolio by applying industry and product knowledge to identify, position, and deliver appropriate treasury and deposit solutions. Demonstrate understanding of Title & Escrow and Specialty Deposits business models, account structures and high‑transaction and deposit environments.Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.ResponsibilitiesPersuasively articulate Fifth Third's value proposition to internal and external clients to influence the outcome within the sales process.Identify client needs and present working‑capital solutions to clients and prospects.Understand payment processes.Proficiency in knowledge of all strategic TM solutions and their benefits to clients.Understand competitors' capabilities and gaps and position Fifth Third's services against them.Prepare and deliver quarterly client service reviews to clients.Develop personal relationships with C‑suite and senior management decision makers at client and prospect organizations.Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goals.Develop a sales pipeline of new and cross‑sell opportunities and manage those to a win/loss decision.Actively manage a pipeline using the CRM tool.Maintain communications with RMs individually and as a group.Review sales goals with RMs and advise on calling strategies.Educate and advise RMs on new TM product development initiatives.Assess knowledge level of individual RMs and bring each up to a minimum standard.Partner with RMs to provide recommendations on sales opportunities, including sales to new prospects and cross‑sell opportunities to existing clients.Work closely with assigned client specialists to ensure excellent client service on an ongoing basis.Assist with general bank communications to clients.Take ownership and deliver timely resolution of client issues.Develop knowledge of internal resources for accurate response to client issues.Understand and communicate implementation timeline to align with client expectations.Ensure proper account documentation and all requisite agreement execution.Communicate recurring or serious product issues to management.Recommend viable solutions to improve client service.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience preferred.CTP certification.6 years of experience in treasury management/commercial banking sales required.Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding performance goals.Strong desire to continuously improve oneself.Strong client interaction skills and ability to influence the outcome of a sales process.Aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients.Demonstrated ability to articulate the benefits of strong working‑capital management solutions to clients.Proven product and sales knowledge sufficient to mentor new team members.Demonstrated knowledge of a wide array of treasury management products.Excellent oral and written skills.Basic proficiency in PC software (MS Office).Technical Treasury Management competencies.Understanding of Treasury Management, Payments and Commerce products and solutions.Ability to build new and existing client relationships.Ability to evaluate client needs.Advanced understanding of financial statement analysis.Ability to provide strategic treasury advisory services.Understanding of investment management techniques.Basic understanding of loan structuring.Understanding of financial management principles.Advanced understanding of accounting techniques.Compensation & BenefitsTotal base pay range: $96,500.00 – $207,500.00 USD per year.Base salary reflects the salary range for all roles within this pay grade across the United States.
