Large Equipment Operator - Metals Manufacturing

The company has thrived as a family business through four generations and has grown to be a market leader and best in class innovator.Position Summary:Our Large Equipment Operator are responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to switch trucks, hydraulic cranes, mobile cranes, loaders, and trac-mobiles. This role supports daily yard operations by moving, loading, and preparing materials as needed. The Equipment Operator is expected to actively demonstrate and support PADNOS company values while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. A valid driver's license is required.Schedule

M-F 6:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

Operate equipment to load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks or railcars and move materials to designated areasMaintain basic production, inventory, shipment, and equipment maintenance records as requiredIdentify and distinguish between different grades and types of materialsInspect incoming and outgoing loads and assist with material grading when applicableAssist with hand-sorting materials as needed to support yard operationsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.Strong attention to detailDemonstrated customer service skillsMinimum of six months of experience operating large equipmentSafety-oriented with a commitment to safe work practicesMust be comfortable working in an outdoor environmentAbility to work independently and remain self-motivated
