Large Forklift Operator

Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $18.00/hour to start
Full-Time Pay: $19.00/hour after going full-time, with potential for additional increase based on performance
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM
Saturday: As needed, typically 6:00 AM-9:00 AM or slightly longer
Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Plenty of overtime available

Large Forklift Operator – Must-Have Requirements

• Previous experience operating a large or heavy-capacity forklift
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Comfortable working outdoors approximately 90% of the time
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to safety
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment around materials and employees

Large Forklift Operator – Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Large Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move large and heavy materials in an outdoor industrial environment.

This position will spend approximately 90% of the workday outdoors and requires someone who is comfortable working in changing weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating large-capacity forklifts, strong safety awareness, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.

This is a day shift position with plenty of overtime available. Employees who transition to full-time will receive a $1.00 per hour pay increase, with potential for additional increases based on skill and performance.

Large Forklift Operator – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate large-capacity forklifts to move and position materials
• Load, unload, and stage materials safely
• Transport materials throughout the yard and work areas
• Read tape measures to verify material dimensions
• Inspect materials and loads before moving them
• Properly position and secure materials
• Follow safe forklift operating procedures
• Maintain awareness of employees, equipment, vehicles, and obstacles
• Perform routine equipment checks and report issues
• Keep work areas organized and free of hazards
• Assist with general yard and material-handling duties as needed
• Work outdoors in hot, cold, windy, rainy, and other weather conditions
• Work overtime and occasional Saturdays based on business needs
