Large Loss / Excess Litigation Attorney (Senior, Insurance Defense) – Philadelphia, PA

An established Pennsylvania defense firm, headquartered in Center City Philadelphia, is adding a senior attorney to its large loss and excess practice. This is a senior seat for a litigator who already handles complex, high-exposure matters for carriers and insureds and wants a firm that values an entrepreneurial, client-focused practice and a long-term career.

What you'll do

• Handle large loss and excess litigation: complex, high-exposure casualty and liability matters
• Drive case strategy from early evaluation through trial
• Own client and carrier relationships; mentor associates

What the firm is looking for

• Pennsylvania bar (active); New Jersey bar a plus
• Senior-level attorney with significant litigation experience; trial experience preferred
• Large loss / excess litigation background
• Portable business or unique practice experience is valued, not required

Compensation: $165,000–$185,000+ base, depending on experience and portable business.
