Laser Doffer - Night Shift

Shift: 2nd Shift | 12HRS (4:15 PM – 4:00 AM, Monday – Thursday)
Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary
About the Role
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Laser Doffer for a manufacturing client in Cherryville, NC.
In this role, you’ll remove excess material from laser -cut metal parts and load new material sheets onto the lasers.
What You'll Do
- Remove parts from sheets of laser-cut material
- Fill pallets with finished parts and tag with part numbers for identification
- Check parts for defects to ensure product quality
- Load new sheets of material onto lasers
- Clean laser equipment at the end of each shift
What You'll Need
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent hand-to-eye manual dexterity
- Solid attendance history
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred:
- Previous manufacturing experience
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must tolerate various temperature ranges
