Laser Machine Operator - Compuermic

Essential Duties: 

• Read and interpret blueprint specifications to determine procedures and operational sequence. 
• Set up, adjust, and operate equipment with limited supervision.
• Operate various hand tools and power tools to make finish adjustments to products.
• Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot operating, material, and tooling problems.
• Perform general preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Guide assisting personnel on correct procedures.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork for finished processes.
• Follow all cleanup and housekeeping procedures.
• Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Meet the required work hours of the department.

SKILLS: 

• Read and interpret blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Communicate effectively with employees throughout the organization.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Solve practical problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Interpret and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
