About the RoleTriangle is looking for a Laser Machine Operator to support die-making production by setting up and operating laser equipment with accuracy and efficiency. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and enjoy running equipment that requires precision, you'll fit right in.What You'll DoSet up and operate laser cutting equipment per job tickets, CAD layouts, and production specsPerform make-readies and ensure correct material/board setup, alignment, and program selectionMonitor machine performance during runs to ensure quality and accuracyComplete in-process checks, make adjustments as needed, and verify parts meet specificationsMaintain production records, counts, and downtime notes in the systemTroubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate more complex concerns to maintenance/leadershipPerform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, basic part replacement)Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE/safety requirementsSupport cross-training and assist other departments/equipment during peak workloadsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior machine operation experience preferred (laser experience is a plus, but not required with strong aptitude)Ability to read job tickets, CAD images, and basic blueprintsMechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skillsBasic math skills (measurements, counts, waste tracking)Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and quality mindsetWork Environment / Physical RequirementsManufacturing floor environment with varying noise levels; PPE requiredStanding/walking/bending; repetitive movementsAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbsAbility to work safely around sharp tools and moving equipment
