Laser Operations Support & Packaging Technician

Step into a fast-moving production floor where precision and teamwork keep everything running smoothly. As a Laser Operations Support & Packaging Technician, you’ll help set up laser cutting equipment, keep runs on-spec, and prepare finished parts for shipment—so our customers get exactly what they ordered, right on time.

A Day in the Role

You arrive to a clean, organized workcell. You’ll collaborate with operators to ready the laser for the day’s jobs, verify programs and materials, and keep an eye on quality as parts come off the line. Between runs, you’ll package completed pieces per company guidelines, label them for outbound shipment, and reset the area so the next order can kick off without delay. You’ll also pitch in with basic maintenance and quick troubleshooting to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Help set up and operate laser machinery for daily production.
• Observe the process and verify parts meet quality standards.
• Package finished products securely and accurately for shipment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safety-focused.
• Coordinate with teammates to hit output goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine care and assist with troubleshooting on laser equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing is a plus.
• Basic laser knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Comfort lifting and moving heavy items safely.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
