Laser Operator
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay: $24/hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Cudahy
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team on first shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser cutting equipment in a fabrication environment. Programming experience is a plus. Additional fabrication experience such as bandsaw, drill press, plasma cutting, and flame cutting is highly desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
Operate laser cutting equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
Verify operational efficiency of equipment before and during production runs.
Dismantle machines or equipment using hand or power tools to inspect for defects and replace defective components as needed.
Maintain quality standards and ensure finished products meet specifications.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
Excellent coordination and mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer skills.
