- Program machines using CAD/CAM or CNC software to meet production requirements
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Adjust machine settings to ensure precision cuts and optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts to verify quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain production records and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines
- Experience with stainless steel tubing and tube laser cutting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in machine programming (G-code, CAD/CAM software, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills: - Experience with tube laser systems (e.g., BLM, Mazak, Trumpf, or similar)
- Familiarity with nesting software and production optimization
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Forklift or material handling experience (if applicable)
