Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience) ### Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading sheets of material, running precision fabrication programs, and carefully unloading completed parts off the laser table. Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Load raw metal sheets onto the laser table, execute production programs, and monitor machine performance for optimal cutting efficiency.
Part Processing: Safely and efficiently unload finished parts from the laser table, separating them from scrap material.
Quality Inspection: Visually inspect cut parts for defects, burrs, or irregularities to ensure adherence to strict production standards.
Material Handling: Handle and transport sheet metal and fabricated parts safely across the shop floor.
Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area around the laser cutting equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery or working in a precision metal fabrication/stamping environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CNC controls; understanding of G and M codes is highly preferred.
Measurement & Blueprints: Ability to read basic job orders, understand dimensions, and utilize manual measurement tools if required.
Physical Demands: Comfort standing for long periods, bending, and lifting sheets of material and finished parts safely.
Attributes: High dependability, a strong work ethic, and a close attention to detail.
