Job Full Description

West Bend metal manufacturing company looking for Laser Operators on 2nd shift!

Key duties and responsibilities may include:
  • Perform setups and operations on Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 Lasers
  • Check material thickness for accuracy and load material into laser stocker
  • De-nest and remove laser oxide from parts
  • Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
  • Train others as needed on set-up and operation of Lasers
  • Identify and troubleshoot machine alignment and cut condition problems
  • Other duties as needed/assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Laser or CNC operating background
  • Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurements tools
  • Demonstrated competency in basic shop math
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
Job Specifications:
  • Pay Range: $18-25/hour DOE
    • A $2 shift premium would be added to wage once a direct hire- expected to be trained on 1st shift for a few weeks.
    • 1st shift training: 6am-2:30pm
  • Shift(s): 2nd
  • Hours: 2pm-10pm
