Position Summary

Are you a detail-oriented manufacturing professional who enjoys working with advanced technology and precision equipment? We're seeking a Laser Operator to join our team and play a key role in producing high-quality stainless steel components. In this role, you'll operate and program state-of-the-art laser cutting equipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional quality while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate laser cutting machines for stainless steel tubing and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Adjust machine parameters to achieve precise cuts and maximize machine performance.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Safely load, unload, and handle materials throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC or laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with stainless steel tubing and tube laser cutting strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of machine programming, G-code, CAD/CAM software, or similar systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Payrate: $23-27 per hour

Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.
