The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring theaccurateandtimelyprocessing of materials whilemaintainingthe highest quality standards.KeyResponsibilitiesDevelopandcreatecomputerprogramsforlasermachinesbasedon engineering drawings, specifications, or production requirements.Selectappropriatelaserparameters,includingpower,speed,andfocallength,for various materials and thicknesses.Performmachinesetupandcalibrationtoensureprecisealignmentandaccuracy of the laser beam.Operate andmonitorlaser machines during production runs to ensureoptimalperformance and adherence to programmed paths.Inspectfinishedproductsforqualityandmakenecessaryadjustmentstothe program as needed.Collaboratewithengineersandproductionsupervisorstooptimizeprocessesand improve production efficiency.Troubleshootandresolveissuesrelatedtolaserprogramming,machineperformance, or material processing.Maintainacleanandorganizedworkarea,includingregularmaintenanceoflasermachines.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.Keepup-to-datewithadvancementsinlasertechnologyandprogrammingtechniquestoenhance skills and knowledge.PreferredQualificationsCandidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowingEducational/Technicalrequirements:Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;additionaltechnicalcertificationsorvocational training in laser technology or related fields is a plus.ProvenexperienceasaLaserProgrammerorsimilarroleinamanufacturingenvironment.Proficiencyincomputer-aideddesign(CAD)softwareandlaserprogramming software (e.g., G-code).Strongunderstandingoflasertechnology,includingdifferentlasertypesandtheirapplications.Abilitytointerpretengineeringdrawingsandtechnicalspecifications.Detail-orientedwithexcellentmathematicalandproblem-solvingskills.Experienceinsettingupandcalibratinglasermachinesforprecisematerialprocessing.Goodcommunicationand teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.Abilitytoworkindependentlyandefficientlyundertightproductionschedules.Strong commitment to safety and quality standards in manufacturing processes.
