Laser Technician

Sidewinders Advance is seeking LASER TECHNICIANS fora long term project in FRANKLIN, OH!

Schedule:

• Training: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm with overtime possible daily and Fridays
• Regular Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am with overtime possible daily and Sundays

Roles of the LASER TECHNICIAN:

• Responsible for selecting material from the sheet rack to be laser cut based on the router requirements.
• Perform "First Piece Article" inspections and document part dimensions per engineering drawings and specifications
• Must be able to read blueprints, troubleshoot issues and and perform daily maintenance checks
• Laser experience
• Nesting Software experience
• Mazak or Trumpf experience a plus

Additional Requirements of the LASER TECHNICIAN:

• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to multi-task
• Good work ethic
• Self-starter
• Willing to learn
• Good attendance
• High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements of the LASER TECHNICIAN:

• Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis
• Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc
• Able to successfully pass vision screens
• Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
• Perform repetitious duties, such as hammering parts.

Eligibility Requirements for LASER TECHNICIANS:

• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
