Laser Welder Operator – 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Laser Welder Operator to perform precision welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel components while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and production.This is with a well-established manufacturer of custom power and electrical solutions for commercial and industrial applications. They offer a clean, modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility and a team-focused work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laser welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel

• Prepare and inspect materials before welding

• Set up and adjust welding equipment and parameters

• Inspect finished welds for quality and defects

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols

• Operate hand tools and perform basic equipment maintenance

• Record production and job information

• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and PPE requirements

• Work closely with production and quality teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous welding experience; laser welding experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

• Experience with aluminum, mild steel, and/or stainless steel

• Basic computer and measurement skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work in a manufacturing environment

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Welding training or vocational certification is a plus.
