Job Description
Solo Regional Truck Driver – Dedicated Retail Route
Weekly Overview & Home Time
- Route: Dedicated freight across NC, VA, MD, and TN
- Mileage: Average 2,300 miles/week (~4 loads)
- Home Time: Home 2–3 times per week, including a 34-hour home reset
- Dispatch Windows: Starts between 8:00 AM and Midnight
Compensation & Bonuses
- Annual Earnings: Up to $55,000 ($1,000–$1,200 weekly avg.)
- CPM Rates: $0.51 to $0.54 (tiered by experience)
- Training Pay: $100/day during initial 1–2 day ride-along
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 total paid across your first 6 months:
- First Load: $250
- Days 30, 60, 120, & 150: $250 each
- Day 90: $500
- Day 180: $750
Freight, Equipment, & Working Conditions
- Freight: 100% dry, no-touch freight (90% drop-and-hook, 10% live unload)
- Schedule Expectations: 50% night driving; weekends and holidays are normal workdays (excluding Christmas)
- Equipment: Late-model Kenworth, International, and Freightliner tractors
- Support: Dedicated on-site management team at the Newton DC
