Who we are
We’re a longstanding, family-owned shop in Irwin, PA, trusted for over 45 years to deliver precise parts and dependable service. We’re adding a Lathe/Mill Machinist to expand our CNC capabilities and keep quality front and center.
What you’ll do
- Operate and set up CNC and manual lathes and mills, plus drill presses.
- Translate blueprints and technical drawings into efficient machining sequences.
- Adjust offsets, tooling, feeds, and speeds to meet tolerance and finish requirements.
- Make minor program edits and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime.
- Inspect work-in-process and final parts with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
- Collaborate with peers to streamline methods and enhance efficiency.
- Keep a tidy, safe work area and follow established safety protocols.
What you have
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
- At least 3 years of machining experience.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and shop equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and related documents.
- Comfort with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented communicator.
