AbouttheAssistantAdministratorRole
AsanAssistantNursingHomeAdministratoratourintimatefacility,youwillhaveabroadleadershiprolethatincludesmanagingdailyoperationsandservingastheheadofadmissionsandsocialservices.Thispositionisnotaninternshipbutacriticalleadershiprolethatoffersdirectmentorshipfromexperiencedadministratorsandexposuretoeveryfacetofskillednursingfacilityoperations.
KeyResponsibilities
- CollaboratecloselywiththeFacilityAdministratortooverseedailynursinghomeoperations
- Leadadmissionsprocesses,coordinatingresidentintakeandplacement
- Managesocialservices,includingresidentsupport,counseling,andfamilycommunications
- Participateinleadershipanddepartmentheadmeetings
- Assistwithemployeerecruitment,retention,andstaffengagement
- Supportregulatorycomplianceandprepareforstateandfederalsurveys
- Helpdevelopandmanagebudgetsandfinancialreporting
- Leadqualityassuranceandperformanceimprovementinitiatives
- Workcross-functionallywithnursing,dietary,housekeeping,maintenance,andbusinessofficeteams
- Managespecialprojectsfocusedonoperationalexcellenceandresidentsatisfaction
- Developexpertiseinstateandfederallong-termcareregulations
- Assumeincreasingleadershipresponsibilitiesthroughouttheprogram
Qualifications
- Bachelor’sdegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity
- Strongleadership,communication,andinterpersonalskills
- Abilitytoworkcollaborativelyacrosshealthcaredisciplines
- Demonstratedproblem-solvingandorganizationalabilities
- CommitmenttoobtainKentuckyLong-TermCareAdministratorlicensurewithin12months
- Abilitytomaintainconfidentialityandprofessionalism
- Experienceinhealthcare,long-termcare,socialservices,admissions,humanresources,ormanagement
- Previoussupervisoryordepartmentheadexperience
- Skillednursingfacilityexperience
- Knowledgeofhealthcareregulationsandcompliance
LicensureRequirement
NoactiveNursingHomeAdministratorlicenseisrequiredathire.CandidatesmustactivelypursueandobtainKentuckyLong-TermCareAdministratorlicensurewithin12monthstocontinueintheprogram.
