Laundry Aide – 32 Hours/Week | $18.40–$19.90/hr Weekend Differential Location: Fairmount Homes – Ephrata, PA Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM | Every other Saturday & one Sunday a month Join a team that feels like family. As a Laundry Aide , you’ll help create a clean, comfortable environment by ensuring that our residents’ linens and clothing are fresh, cared for, and handled with dignity. Why Fairmount? What We Offer: Starting pay of $18.40–$19.90/hour Weekend differential: $1.25/hour Paid 30-minute lunch break Generous PTO plan 401(k) with matching program Full medical, dental, and vision insurance for 30 hours/week Employee discounts at the on-site Fairmount Café A welcoming and friendly team environment What You’ll Do: Collect soiled laundry, handling it safely to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria Follow proper precautions when washing “contaminated” or “isolation” linens Sort laundry items by category, wash, dry, and fold according to material type Distribute clean laundry to designated areas using laundry carts Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and carts Protect residents’ linens and clothing during the laundering process What We’re Looking For: Ability to follow simple oral directions Previous laundry experience helpful but not required—we’ll train you! Working knowledge of commercial laundry equipment a plus A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to our mission and values Apply Today!
